EXTRA: if it does not work for whatever reason, here is a troubleshooting guide to help fix the problem

Go to "My computer" right click then click on properties.
Click on advanced system settings
On advanced tab
under performance
Click on
"settings"
Click on data execution prevention
Select "turn on dep for all programmes and services except for those i select"
And then add pinnacle studio to the list.
Beware:
Make sure u add all the programmes u use or dep will block them but if it does ittl warn u so jus go back 2 where i said and add the programme which is blocked.

if it still dont work

1) download and install trial version from pinnacle website
2) in the program; go to HELP MY PASSPORT
3) open keygen that you get from here
4) copy the passport from MY PASSPORT into the keygen where it says "pinnacle passport"
5) in "select module to activate" scroll down to STUDIO 12 TRIAL TO STUDIO 12 PLUS
6) click the ACTIVATION KEY at the bottom, and it should give you a key
7) in pinnacle studio program, go to HELP ENTER ACTIVATION KEYS
